Description

Originating in Mongolia, Tilia mongolica is very hardy with serrated, dark green leaves which turn lovely shades of golden-yellow before falling in autumn. Clusters of cream coloured flowers which are said to be narcotic to bees, are found on the branches of mature plants in summer.

Tilia mongolica is one of the best lime trees for autumn colour and will flourish in a warm, sunny situation.
