Description
A lovely large, spreading shrub native to the Himalayas which bears splendid plumes of creamy-white flowers in early summer.
Sorbaria tomentosa var.
angustifolia has dark green, fern-like leaves which are amongst the first to appear in early spring and are not damaged by late frosts. An unusual and handsome garden plant.

- Notes: This plant is also known as Sorbaria aitchisonii. A specimen planted in the woodland garden surrounding our nursery had reached a height of 2.5 m and a spread of 3 m after 10 years.
