An unusual, strong growing evergreen shrub with scented flowers in winter, introduced from Jiangxi in Eastern China by Roy Lancaster. The leaves are dark green, glossy and oval, sometimes quite large - up to 9 cm long. Masses of scented pink tinged white flowers appear on the branches in winter or very early spring.
Superb evergreen shrub ideal for planting near in a sheltered spot near a back door or frequently used path where the scent can be appreciated in the winter.
