Description
A large semi-evergreen oak, Quercus x hispanica 'Lucombeana' was raised in Exeter in 1763 by the nursery of Mr Lucombe from acorns which were hybrids of Quercus cerris and Quercus suber.
Looking a little like a traditional Quercus robur (English Oak) which keeps its leaves through the year, this is a little more vigorous than the other Quercus x hispanica listed here.
