Description
A remarkable large evergreen shrub or small tree with lovely scented flowers that is a native to the Yunnan province of China.
Osmanthus yunnanensis was introduced to the U.K. by the plantsman George Forrest in 1921. It has bold, coarsely toothed, deep green leaves and beautiful, ivory-white and sweetly fragrant flowers in late winter. Well worth planting near to a house door or in a often used area of the garden to make the most of the flowers excellent fragrance.

- Notes: We have a single plant available at this size. It is a very large ex-show plant (now to large to easily transport to the shows!) and has been container grown. It is far to large to send by our usual mail order service and is available only for collection from our nursery or for local delivery (free delivery within 25 miles of our nursery).
