Description

A new introduction, Mahonia 'Cabaret' is a compact shrub with elegant racemes of bright orange-red flower bud which open into eye-catching yellow flowers which last from very late summer into autumn. These flowers are followed by masses of ornamental blueish-grey berries which stand out well against the foliage.

The leaves are dark, glossy green with new growth emerging as a lovely bronze-red in colour, slowly turning back to green as it ages. A handsome shrub ideal for a position in full sun or partial shade.
