SOLD OUT: Available autumn 2012
Description
A native to parts of Greenland and Alaska, this is a beautiful carpeting shrub with white, 2 cm wide flower bracts in early summer. Cornus canadensis has lush-green leaves, pretty red and orange autumn colours and ornamental red fruit. Interestingly, a mild tea made from the roots has in the past been used to treat colic in infants.
Cornus canadensis is an unusual ground cover plant best suited for a moist, shady area.
