SPECIAL OFFER - A lovely medium sized shrub, Colutea arborescens 'Sunset' has pinnate (feather-like) pale green leaves and masses of pretty sunset-orange flowers in early summer. These flowers are followed by attractive inflated seed pods which initially are green in colour, turning bronze-cream as they age. Excellent deciduous shrub for a sunny, well drained border.

Important: Please do not feed this Colutea with artificial plant food after planting it out, this can severely damage the root system.

• Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
• Soil: Well drained soil. Colutea arborescens 'Sunset' is tolerant of poor, dry soils if well watered until established.
• Hardiness: Somewhat hardy. Colutea arborescens 'Sunset' can suffer damage in a severe winter if not protected.
• Flowering Period: June - July.
• Flower Colour: Orange
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Medium sized branching shrub.
