Description
An unusual evergreen shrub native to the Balearic Islands and Spain, Buxus balearica has glossy, dark green leaves which are aromatic when wet or damp. In spring, very small white flowers appear on the branches. A reliable foliage plant which can be pruned back to form topiary, a small hedge or left to grow as a standalone specimen shrub as desired.
