Description

An evergreen plant native to parts of Tasmania, Acradenia frankliniae has attractive, glossy dark green, slightly serrated leaves and handsome flowers. Once established, eye-catching clusters of pretty white flowers appear on the ends of the branches in late spring. These flowers stand out well against the dark green foliage.

An unusual medium sized garden shrub, Acradenia frankliniae is generally hardy if sheltered from strong winds but is most suited for warm gardens.

Supplied Size: 3L containers (30 - 40 cm tall)

• Position: Full sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Moist, fertile soil. This plant dislikes soil prone to drying out.
• Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Acradenia frankliniae requires protection from cold winter winds.
• Flowering Period: April - May.

• Rate of Growth: Slow.
• Habit: Medium sized or eventually large, branching shrub.
