An attractive and mound-shaped maple, Acer palmatum 'Red Pygmy' has delicate, seven-lobed, reddish-purple leaves which turn shades of bright red and scarlet in a good crisp autumn. The leaves compliment a very graceful habit to make this Acer a particularly elegant addition to a garden or large container!
