Description
One of the best maples for foliage colour in spring, Acer palmatum 'Katsura' has small, five lobed leaves which emerge as a beautiful bright golden-yellow, with a pale orange edge when young.
The leaves gradually fade to a dark green by the middle of summer, before once again turning a rich orange and yellow in autumn just before they fall. A superb, colourful plant!
