Description

An unusual maple with excellent autumn colour and attractive vine-like leaves which is native to the western side of Canada and the United States. Acer circinatum has leaves a little similar in appearance to those of an Acer palmatum (Japanese Maple), lush green in spring and summer before turning fabulous shades of orange and crimson in a good, crisp autumn. In spring, it also has attractive red and white pendulous flower clusters. A superb ornamental maple able to brighten up a dark corner of a garden with its glorious autumn colour!
