    Looking as though a tiger had used the tree to sharpen its claws, Acer tegmentosum 'Joe Witt' has a particularly good bark, with masses of sinuous, chalky white lines running up the jade green bark.

    A superb vase-shaped garden tree with excellent summer and winter interest.
