Description

A native to Eastern and Northern parts of the USA, Eupatorium purpureum forms large clumps of tall stalks with flat, purple-pink, flower heads in late summer. Very good for butterflies and other native insects, this plant is spectacular when used as a back drop in flowering borders to provide architectural height.

  • Notes: An excellent, tough, late flowering plant for enticing insects, bees and butterflies into the garden.
