Description

A new introduction from China, Fargesia scabrida 'Asian Wonder' has lovely narrow, dark green leaves with a dainty, oriental appearance which contrast well against the orange-brown culm sheaths on the stem.

An unusual, fountain shaped bamboo if planted alone or an excellent screening or hedging specimen when planted in a group.

Supplied Size: 3L container (30 - 50 cm tall)

• Position: Full sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy.
• Rate of Growth: Vigorous.
• Habit: Tall, clump forming bamboo.
