Description

New and striking cultivar, Ginkgo biloba 'California Sunset' has new leaves which emerge as a pale creamy-yellow in colour, turning dark green with clear golden stripes as they age. Although still new to us, the variegation appears to more ore stable than that of the Ginkgo biloba 'Variegata'.

Supplied Size: 3L container

  • Position: Partial shade.
  • Soil: Any well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Rate of Growth: Slow.
  • Habit: Ginkgo biloba 'California Sunset' eventually grows to be a large shrub or very small, branching tree.
    • Height: estimated up to 3 m (10 ft).
    • Spread: 2.5 m (8 ft).
