Description

A lovely American introduction with silver-marbled foliage and lovely clusters of white flowers in summer. Schizophragma hydrangeoides 'Moonlight' also has attractive, heart shaped leaves which are silver with deep green veins all summer and showing orange / yellow tints before falling in autumn. An unusual climber suitable for climbing through trees or up a shady wall.

• Notes: In cooler, northern parts of the U.K., Schizophragma hydrangeoides 'Roseum' will grow in a sunny position. In southern areas with hot summers, they much prefer partial shade. This plant requires protection from slugs.
