An evergreen, vigorous, twining climber with creamy pinkish-white flowers in early spring. A native of Central and Western China, Clematis armandii and its cultivars are hardy here in the U.K. but enjoy the warmth of a sunny wall or fence to ripen the luxuriant growth in summer. The bold, glossy, dark-green leaves gives year round interest and this Clematis is a popular choice for growing on North facing walls or fences!Features

- Position: Full sun or partial shade.
- Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
- Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Clematis armandii 'Appleblossom' requires shelter from strong, cold winter winds.
